Loving Father, Brother, Uncle, Friend
Brian E. Fournier, 59, of Lowell, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, with his daughter by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Jaime A. (Sullivan) Fournier, who passed away in 2013. They had celebrated 11 years of marriage together.
Born in Lowell on August 25, 1962, he was the son of the late Louis and Phyllis (Corcoran) Fournier. He graduated from the Greater Lowell Tech with the class of 1980. He enlisted in the US Army, and proudly served his country for 11 years, working his way up to the rank of Sergeant. Brian was employed by Tewksbury Hospital as a mental health worker for many years.
Brian loved to spend his summer days sitting on his front steps enjoying the nice weather. The kids of the neighborhood would love to stop by and talk to him, and they all called him grandpa. He loved watching fireworks with his daughter and their dog. He also loved to tell stories about his days in the army.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Jaiden B. Fournier of Lowell, his “adopted” son, Alexis E. Beamud of Lowell, his best friend, Joshua D. Cruz of Lowell, two brothers, two sisters, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many friends.
