Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother

Joyce Carol (Dolfi) Penich, 83, of Beverly, MA, formerly of Ohio, Maryland and Tennessee, passed away peacefully at Beverly Hospital on Good Friday, April 10, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Penich Jr. with whom she celebrated 43 years of marriage. They were an adventurous couple, and through the years enjoyed long walks, dancing, and country drives.

Born November 14, 1936 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James J. Dolfi Sr. and Catherine E. Tittle.

A doting grandmother, she enjoyed hosting family and friends at their home in Maine where many great memories were made over the years. A devout Catholic, she will always be remembered for her love of family, and the joy she found in practicing and sharing her faith with others.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Corrine A. Walsh and her husband Richard T. Walsh, Kenneth A. Perryman and his wife Shay Perryman, and Ronald D. Neide. Grandsons, James A. Joyce, Jason A. Joyce, Justin A. Joyce and his wife Lauren (Healy), and Jared A. Joyce; granddaughters, Ariel and Olivia, and one (very cute) great-grandson, Asa F. Joyce. Also survived by a brother, James J. Dolfi Jr., whom she loved dearly, and his wife Linda (Brock). She was the mother of the late Kelly M. Perryman.

Private interment to be held in St. Catherine of Alexandria Cemetery, Westford. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
