Loving Mother, Aunt, Friend

Judith M. (Lehto) Gatto, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly on November 20, 2021, in Lowell, aged 64 years. She was the daughter of the late Uno A. “John” and Dorothy (Cox) Lehto.

Judy graduated from Chelmsford High School, then worked at Chelmsford Crossings for many years.

She loved animals and over the years brought many lucky small dogs and cats into her care. During her younger days, she enjoyed horseback riding.

Judy loved hunting for treasures at yard sales on the weekends, and taking trips through the countryside in New Hampshire. During summer months, she enjoyed spending warm days in the sun, and over the winter, bundling up by a cozy fire with family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Jason Gatto and Chad Belley, a niece, Kimberley Logue, two nephews, Bill Hudson and Paul Malatesta, and her cousin and best friend, Cheryl Spaulding. She was the sister of the late Debra Hudson.

Friends are invited to her visitation at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, on Monday from 4 to 6 PM. Funeral Service and Interment are private. Funeral Director, Frederick W. Healy. Please visit Judy’s life tribute at www.morsebaylissfuneralhome.com.
