Mark Goldman, a lifelong resident of Lowell, entered into rest on February 7, 2022, in Lowell, after a period of declining health, aged 71 years.

He was the son of the late Jacob “Chickie” Goldman, who was Lowell’s first Jewish police officer, and the late Betty (Marmar) Goldman. He received his education in the Lowell school system.

Mark was a fixture at City Council meetings and political events throughout the '80s and '90s. He was also the former head of the Lowell Zionist Organization.

He is survived by his beloved cousins and many friends.

Mr. Goldman’s Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday at the MONTEFIORE SYNAGOGUE CEMETERY, 46 Pulpit Rock Rd., Pelham, NH, at 1:00 PM. Please omit flowers.
