Obituary for Rosalie Cullinane (Mulaniff) (LeBrun)

Loving mother, nana, nana-great

Rosalie (Mulaniff) (LeBrun) Cullinane, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died March 24, 2021, at LGH Saints Campus, after a period of declining health, aged 85 years.

Born in Lowell, March 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late David H. and Ruth E. (Gray) Mulaniff. Rosalie was a graduate from Lowell High School with the Class of 1953.

Rosalie went on to raise a family, and be a career woman; having worked for companies like G.E., Wang and Home Interiors and Gifts.

Rosalie was a longtime member of the Pawtucket Congregational Church in Lowell and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the American Legion Post 247 in Tyngsboro.

She was always an animal lover, having adopted many cats and rescued abandoned animals over the years.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda and Michael Sponholtz, Brenda Sullivan and Maurice Martin, Patricia Cullinane and David Tomas, and her son, Robert LeBrun, Jr. Her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Jason Roy; David and Jeany Tennant; Matthew Sponholtz; Melissa Sponholtz; Mark Basnett, Jr. and Joanne Hayes; and Zoe Wagner. Rosalie is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren: Rachel and Abby; Victoria, Aurora, Hailey, Skylar, and Maximus; Emma, Calvin, and Vincent.

Rosalie was the oldest sibling of two brothers, Raymond and Neil Parkhurst, who reside in NH and FL, and was predeceased by her sister, Linda Wellington of FL.

Friends are invited to her visitation at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, on Sunday from 3:30 to 4:45 PM., followed by her Funeral Service at 5 PM. Interment is private. Friends who wish may make memorial donations in her name to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854 or online at Funeral Director, Frederick W. Healy.
