Loving Sister and Aunt

Shirley A. Lilly, 78, of Lowell, died peacefully December 12, 2020, in Chelmsford, after a brief Illness.

Born in Ticonderoga, New York on March 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Cecil R. and Gertrude (Petty) Lilly. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the Class of 1959, and retired from the former Western Electric Company.

She is survived by a brother, John R. Lilly and his wife Muriel of Salt Lake City, Utah, and several nieces and nephews, including Donna Burke and her husband Jim of Lowell, and Colleen Lilly-Dunkum and her wife Loretta, who were her primary care givers. She was the sister of the late Cecil Jr., Constance, Carolyn, Wayne, Alice, Dean, Lois, Norma, Sandra, Malcom, and an unnamed brother who died at birth.

As was Shirley’s wishes, there will be no services. Her burial will take place in Ticonderoga at a later date. Memorial donations in her name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
