Loving Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin

Tyler W. Patterson, of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2021, at his home. Tyler was 28 years old.

Born in Lowell on June 5, 1993, he was the beloved son of Karen (Patterson) and Michael Kerchner of Lowell, and Arthur Karagiozis and Celia Alexander of Gardiner, Maine.

Tyler grew up in Lowell, and graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School in 2012.

After graduation, he worked for the 99 Restaurant and the Marriott Hotel. He then went on to work as an Operations Manager at Sheffield Express/Amazon, and most recently, worked at Five Guys in Westford.

Tyler loved TV shows like Friends, Game of Thrones, The Office, and Dexter. He also enjoyed reading, going to amusement parks, playing video games - especially Pokémon Go, and trying his luck at the casino. He was an animal lover at heart, and especially loved his cherished pets Penny, Nickel, Luna, and the late Dexter.

One of Tyler‘s greatest accomplishments was defeating cancer in 2018. He will be missed and remembered by everyone for his bright smile, and love for all.

In addition to his parents and step-parents, Tyler is survived by three sisters, Brianna Kerchner, Maria Kerchner, and Keelan Karagiozis, his grandmother, Grace D’Italia, and his grandfather, Will Kerchner. Also, several aunts and uncles, Walter Patterson Jr., David Patterson and his wife Kelly, Jessica Kerchner, Sarah Kerchner, Joanna Kerchner, Dianne Moore, and Darlene Bernier. His loving cousins, Megan White and Ashlee Larson, along with their families, and his Godmother, Christine Lindberg. He was the grandson of the late Walter and Billie Patterson, whom he loved and adored.

Friends will be received at the Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard, Lowell, on Friday, September 3, from 2 to 5 p.m. Funeral service and interment will be private.
